Philanthropic Partnerships Assistant
Silverio Ramirez is a Philanthropic Partnerships Assistant for Hunt Alternatives, supporting senior leadership, program managers, and Partnerships staff in implementing philanthropic strategies. In this position Mr. Ramirez is primarily responsible for coordination between the Partnerships team and programmatic staff, and maintaining development records and data. He also assists in event logistics and prospect research.
Previously, Mr. Ramirez worked on development teams for organizations focused on social change, including the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Foundation and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on Conflict Resolution from The Elliott School at The George Washington University, and is fluent in Spanish. During his studies, he spent time at King’s College London’s School of Social Science and Public Policy in their war studies department. Originally born in Mexico, Mr. Ramirez has called Houston, Texas home for the last 15 years.
