From January 7 – 12, 2017, The Institute for Inclusive Security will host our 18th annual colloquium in Cambridge, MA. For one week, women leaders from conflict regions around the world will exchange lessons learned and refine strategies aimed at changing the way decisions are made about war and peace.

At Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, they will engage current and future policy shapers about the unique value women bring to security decision making. When women are included, they contribute innovative perspectives, bridge divides between warring groups, and enhance the legitimacy of the process, thus increasing the likelihood that peace will last.

Inclusive Security’s colloquium provides these leaders with the space to strengthen their skills and to reflect, connect, and ultimately multiply their impact on global security.
