As a member of the Afghan Women’s Network, Samira Hamidi has fought for the inclusion of women as her country is rebuilt. With the help of Inclusive Security’s training and consultations program, she has expanded her reach and advocacy to the international level, including attending the Bonn Conference in December of 2011. Since 1999, Inclusive Security has worked with more than a thousand women in conflict areas worldwide, providing skills and knowledge to lead peace-building efforts at the local, national, and international levels.
